Originally from Chicago but currently residing in the seaside community of Bristol, Rhode Island, Lee Coulter creates sculptures in bronze, brass, copper and steel. His roots from metal working stem from his days as a jeweler in California. In 1990 Lee moved to Switzerland and opened his own studio in Zurich where he worked on marble and alabaster sculptures. There he had the opportunity to travel, meet and work with several European artists. Returning to California in 1991, Lee eventually went back working on metal sculptures and he became an exibitor at the Santa Barbara Art Show. He has been participating in shows in USA and Europe for 20 years. Currently his work can be seen in the upcoming art shows in New England and East Coast.
